Low Country Trykes Welcomes You
Our Story
Low Country Trykes, a Georgia not-for-profit organization was created in 2021 by Kim Fields and Stacey Glassman. Both Kim and Stacey had fundraised, built, and distributed Trykes when they were members of the Clarksville Sunset Rotary Club. Kim returned to the Effingham area in the winter of 2021 and noticed there was not a group in the area that supported obtaining these Trykes for people with different abilities in the Effingham, Bryan, Bulloch, Long, and Liberty County. Stacey relocated to the Effingham area in the summer of 2021. Kim and Stacey created the Low Country Trykes to help people with different abilities to have the opportunity to have a Trykes of their own at no cost to the family. AMBUCS (https://ambucs.org/) is the organization that we partner with to obtain the Trykes.
